Bleu de Chanel Parfum is a refined woody aromatic fragrance built around lemon zest, lavender and sandalwood, and Maids Scents carries the authentic Parfum with delivery across Nigeria and beyond.
What is Bleu de Chanel Parfum?
Bleu de Chanel Parfum launched in 2018, created by perfumer Olivier Polge, who succeeded his own father, Jacques Polge, at Chanel in 2015. This was genuinely Olivier’s first solo masculine creation for the house, and it went on to win the Fragrance Foundation’s own Fragrance of the Year award for Men’s Luxury in 2019.
That transition was genuinely significant for the house, marking Olivier Polge stepping fully into a role his father had shaped for decades, while still keeping the fragrance instantly recognisable as part of the same family.
Rather than making the fragrance louder, Olivier Polge chose to refine it, completing the wider Bleu de Chanel family alongside the original 2010 EDT and the 2014 EDP, which we already carry.
Fragrance Profile
Bleu de Chanel Parfum opens with lemon zest, bergamot, mint and artemisia, a bright, aromatic burst that quickly settles into something noticeably less bracing and citrus-forward than either the EDT or the EDP.
As it develops, the heart brings in lavender, pineapple, geranium and green notes, with more than one detailed reviewer specifically praising the pineapple as especially refreshing, and the lavender and geranium together giving the composition a more rugged, mature intensity than its citrus-led siblings.
The base settles into sandalwood, cedar, amberwood, Iso E Super and tonka bean, closing out a warm, creamy dry-down more than one enthusiastic reviewer compares to stepping out of a shower at a luxury resort before relaxing on a balcony at sunset.
Top Notes: Lemon Zest, Bergamot, Mint, Artemisia
Heart Notes: Lavender, Pineapple, Geranium, Green Notes
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Cedar, Amberwood, Iso E Super, Tonka Bean
Who Should Wear Bleu de Chanel Parfum?
Bleu de Chanel Parfum suits anyone who wants the most refined, understated version of the Bleu DNA rather than a louder, more citrus-forward statement. More than one reviewer specifically prefers this concentration above the other two, describing it as extremely versatile and calmingly beautiful.
Given its genuinely more mature, understated character, it also works especially well as a considered gift for someone who already knows and appreciates the wider Bleu de Chanel range.
Performance and Longevity
Performance is genuinely strong, with one documented wear test specifically finding projection detectable at arm’s length for two to three hours, and the fragrance still perceptible close to skin beyond ten hours.
Two to three sprays on pulse points is a sensible starting point given how consistently strong and long-lasting this fragrance is reported to be.
Best Time to Wear Bleu de Chanel Parfum in Nigeria
